Output Strategy
Having assembled all the previous data, in this step we will suggest what content should be made and how. This includes:
Platforms to focus on
Resources needed, such as gear and ice time
Release schedules
Content formats (podcast, video, etc)
Any supporting materials (websites/social media accounts)
And more
All these are dictated by an overarching set of rules, goals, and missions based on both your career and personal needs.
Step 2
Personal Needs
At Magdalena Media, the personal needs determine how the professional duties are done, not vice versa. Your off-ice priorities, be they hobbies you want to pursue, rehab from injuries, self-development, or more time with your family, will inform our recommendations for you.
Step 4
Output Planning
Logistics means a shoot happens. Planing means a shoot is effective. We prioritize planning so that you do not have to waste any time on set.
Storyboards plan how shots will look
Shot lists identify what angles are needed
Player directories show what movements we need of you, to allow you to rehearse ahead of time. For example: C-cut backwards from blue line, turn at right-wing face-off circle, and wrist shot high shelf far side.
These tools are used to ensure that the on-set environment is calm and efficient, and that the shoots are completed as quickly as possible to allow you to return to your off-ice life.
